Description: NSI requires a Journeyman Operations Research Analyst/Project Scheduler to support the KC-130J team. The scheduler will provide IGS support for the KC-130J team (e.g., Develop, baseline, maintain, analyze networked Integrated Government Schedules (IGSs)). The scheduler is responsible for developing/assisting in responding to frequent ad-hoc scheduling requests from the program team and managing the requests of multiple IPTs. Will be responsible for integrating project activities across multiple IPTs and external stakeholders into several Integrated Government Schedules (IGS). Communicates and ask questions to IPT leads and team members in order to obtain information from them to properly develop, update & maintain the IGSs. Communicate with Level 1 and 0 leadership to review products and implement and develop the program vision. Experienced in building complex schedules that capture program requirements through interactions with multiple IPTs and external stakeholders. Establish and maintain a baseline that reflects the project critical path. Maintain current schedule business rhythm and possibly adjust if needed. Provide Critical Path analysis and what if scenarios. Facilitate schedule related assessments i.e. Deep-Dive, Scrubs, etc. Tools: Microsoft Project, One Pager Pro.
Location: Lexington Park, MD/Hybrid position requiring 1-2 days per week in office
Education: BS or BA degree preferred.
Allowable Substitution: AA/AS degree with an additional eight (8) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional ten (10) years of experience.
Experience: At least 4+ years of experience with networked schedule development, critical path method, baseline and status using milestones, task, duration, lead/lag, and other standard data points/aspects of schedule development, maintenance, and analysis. Experience using MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
