The Project Estimator reviews project documentation to create a budget for our customers. Ensures the products being quoted match what is requested in the project documents. Provides clearly written proposal to our customer at the date they requested.
Responsibilities Include:
Review incoming ITB’s to determine validity and understand scope of work
Review plan and specifications for product details to ensure proposed products meet architect and owner needs
Perform take-offs
Use software to build doors, frames and hardware
Evaluate vendor quotes to obtain accurate pricing on products
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as architects both verbally and in writing
Prepare cost analysis and estimates ensuring timely completion
Review and evaluate cost estimates

Education and Experience:
High School diploma, Bachelors in related field preferred.
Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in estimating

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
