The Construction Project Manager is directly responsible for ensuring the implemented project adheres to the authorized scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Specific assignments will include the design and phased construction activities associated with electrical or thermal generation and distribution systems projects. Provides expert-level day-to-day management and leadership for the Owner during the design, construction and close-out phases of capital projects with a wide range of sizes and costs involving new construction, renovations, or large-scale restoration. During a capital project's construction and close-out phases, the Construction Project Manager is assigned multiple projects at one time with a wide variety of cost and sizes.

Required Skill/ability 1: Experience in the professional practice of Construction Management, or Engineering in power plants and/or related large scale and/or complex utility and infrastructure work.
Required Skill/ability 2: Proven ability with complex planning, design, and construction programs. Significant construction administration or construction management experience for multiple and complex projects. Knowledge of electrical, utility or thermal energy systems design, operation and construction.
Required Skill/ability 3: Proven knowledge of engineering and construction practice and principles and the development of contract documents plus a comprehensive knowledge of zoning and building codes and regulations.
Required Skill/ability 4: Ability to establish priorities and follow through on projects playing close attention to detail with minimal supervision to complete construction assignments under time constraints.
Required Skill/ability 5: Proven knowledge of capital and strategic planning and life cycle cost analysis, plus accounting practices and principles. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organizational, estimating, analytical, supervisory, and leadership skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. CADD and MS Project experience is preferred.

Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Six or more years related experience in the professional practice of Construction Management.
