The Pricing Analyst will be an integral member of the capture / proposal team assisting in the development of the pricing strategy, identifying risks and interpreting solicitation requirements. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for insuring that proposals are developed in accordance with FAR and customer requirements and supports cost proposals from receipt of the RFP through negotiations of the contract. The role and work environment are highly collaborative with a great deal of interface across departments and functions, as well as high-exposure to executive leadership. This effort includes the following:
Act as Cost Volume lead and internal/external point of contact Review and analyze RFP, SOW, and technical solution data to determine factors that affect price Collect and evaluate functional inputs assuring that all requirements are proposed appropriately and are compliant with the RFP Create comprehensive, summarized pricing packages for management reviews Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure, strategy, and Price-to-Win analysis Support financial business case and risk assessments Collaborate on the determination of cost proposal policies, standards, and procedures
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related field Knowledgeable in US Code & Federal Acquisition Regulations related to contract pricing 5+ years experience in US Government contractor pricing required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong written and oral communication Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with business partners Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to work under short deadlines and multi-task *The successful candidate may be hired at the Senior Pricing Analyst level, based on experience.
